At only 16 years-old, Berechet Mihnea aka Esemdi, is, without a doubt, one of Romania's youngest producers. Born in Buzau, he got into music early, falling in love with electronic music. In 2004 he started to play around with different styles but his attention was caught by electro house, progressive house and tech-house.
In 2008 he signs his first contract with a label and gets noticed with several original productions and remixes. His first success was "Nimic" (also his first ever release), a track that got into several charts and got support from big names such as John Acquaviva and many others. He remixed for Carl Cox, Cristian Paduraru, Martin Solveig (just to name a few :) ) and he had several shows on radio stations all around the world. At the moment he works for labels all around the world: Mode2 Recordings and the K!dia sublabel, Nightrain Music, Frisky Records, Pearlicka Records, ACT72/Elettrika Records, SMD Records, Sundesire Tech and the list could go on forever. |
